1 - The Magician


I'm thinking of starting the slow process of working my way through the tarot, one card at a time, starting with the Major Arcana. Ideally both to learn and to eventually make some cards on my own (a Xena deck beckons mightily). It occurred to me that could be a fun way for the community to zero in on one card at a time, connecting it to various fandoms, tropes, characters, genres, what have you.( Read more... )

Wanted to say welcome. There's a surprising number of you here already ❤️

Just wanted to reiterate that this community has open posting for all members, on anything intersecting fandom and cartomancy. Including if you want to host a discussion post on something, share fanworks, or design an open (!challenge) or limited time challenge (type: timed challenge).

I'll be home in under two weeks, and plan for a proper introductory post there so we can all get to know one another and what we'd like to see and do in the community.

Anything to do with tarot so long as it has a fannish angle to it! Membership is open to all, please post whatever you'd like that intersects cartomancy and fandom (anything with a canon; books, shows, comics, etc. Not stamps, cats but seriously go look at all the cat decks!, gardening, etc.). Linking to an entry in your own journal is a ok.
